Xypex Crystalline Technology
As strong as concrete is for endless applications, its flaw is that over time, through the tiniest pathways within its structure, concrete permits the passage of water and other potentially damaging liquids.
Water can become concrete’s staunchest enemy, permitting the ingress of water and agressive chemicals. This result in the rusting of reinforcing steel and the deterioration of the structure.

The second video in this section, linked from the Xypex You Tube Channel, provides instructions on how to use two of the most popular Xypex products; Xypex Concentrate and Xypex Modifier.
Concentrate the most chemically active product within the Xypex Crystalline Waterproofing System. When mixed with water, this light grey powder is applied as a cementitious slurry coat to above-grade or below-grade concrete, either as a single coat or as the first of a two-coat application.
Xypex Modified can be applied as a second coat to reinforce Xypex Concentrate, or applied by itself to damp-proof the exterior of foundation walls. Applied as a second coat, Xypex Modified chemically reinforces Xypex Concentrate where two coats are required and produces a harder finish.
Patch’n Plug fast-setting, non-shrink, high-bond-strength, hydraulic cement compound for concrete patching and repair.
MegaMix I a thin parge coat for the waterproofing and resurfacing of vertical masonry or concrete, surfaces, as a cap coat for Xypex Concentrate, or an architectural rendering as applied by trowel up to 3/8”
MegaMix II for patching or resurfacing deteriorated concrete, requiring a thicker parge coat, between 3/8” and 2″.
Admix C-1000/C-1000 NF are added to the concrete batch on site and enhance adhesion of mortar. Hardens and toughens cement mortars; eliminates water curing.
Gamma Cure accelerates the Xypex Crystallization Process.
Xycrylic Admix is specifically designed for fortifying cement compositions. It improves curing qualities, enhances bond, imparts excellent water and weather resistance, and reduces shrinkage cracking. Xycrylic Admix is also used to fortify

AQUALOC Rubber Systems
AquaLoc Ceramic Topcoat A strong, tough coating, formulated with hollow-core ceramic microspheres, strands and irregular particulate in a complex 100% acrylic suspension with superior adhesion and abrasion resistance. It is ideal for roofs that suffer from extremely hot temperatures as it offers a superior level of insulation.
AquaLoc Grey Topcoat HIGH SOLIDS ADVANCED ACRYLIC ELASTOMER Is a breathing coating, allowing moisture vapour to pass through the film while remaining impervious to mass water penetration.
AquaLoc Grey Topcoat (for Ponding Water) Is a unique water-based elastomeric coating specifically designed to achieve optimum adhesion over new or existing smooth modified bitumen or other asphaltic roof substrates. It provides a waterproof barrier with excellent resistance to blistering under prolonged ponded water exposure, while blocking bleed-through of asphaltic oils.
AquaLoc Rubber Guard Spray Grade Rubber Guard is a quick set membrane that is cold spray applied and is free of the problems that are commonly found with conventional membrane systems. It is a unique membrane that is used for containment, civil and structural waterproofing, roofing and anti-corrosion.
AquaLoc Rubber Guard Roller Brush A highly modified asphalt emulsion. It is a cold applied liquid membrane, single component system that can be used for a multitude of applications.
AquaLoc Rubber Guard Trowel Grade One coat system unlike Roller brush which requires two coats. Numerous applications such as roofing repairs. Waterproofing and concrete protection. Environmentally friendly alternative to conventional trowel, caulking or other solvent based alternatives.
AquaLoc Synthetic Structural Fibers are also available – used in concrete to improve material properties.
Insulation Board H-Shield polyisocynanurate insulation is a rigid roof panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded on-line each side to fiber reinforced facers.

AQUALOC Spray Foam
Often when homes are completely destroyed, it is the roof system that fails first, allowing wind and rain to enter the home unchecked. In fact water damage to a structure and its contents is often ten times more costly than the damage to the roof itself.
Properly installed by your AquaLoc team, SPF is a smooth, continuous surface, which grips the deck and the building walls. It adheres so tightly to the underside of your roof that there is no need for it to have fasteners to the roof deck. It glues the whole structure together reducing or eliminating the ‘weak spots’ that a poorly attached hurricane strap may have.
Studies have found it can add from 75 to 300 percent increase in racking strength, (the measurement of a building system’s ability to resist wind loads).

- Sikalastic 320 is a single component, liquid applied, bitumen modified, coal tar free, moisture cured polyurethane waterproofing membrane available in Self-Leveling (SL) and Non-Sag (NS) consistencies.
- Sikalastic 500 is a versatile, low VOC, ultra high solids, single-component, liquid applied silicone roof coating. It provides superior UV resistance over a variety of roof substrates. The main features of Sikalastic 500 are its high solids content, rapid cure and superior physical properties. Certified to meet CoolRoofRatingCouncil (CRRC) and EPA guidelines for ENERGY STAR compliance. (For use with Sikalastic Primer 502.)
Sealants & Caulks
Sikaflex-1a Grey or White is a premium-grade, solvent-free, high-performance, moisture-cured, 1-component, polyurethane-based, non-sag elastomeric sealant which can be used in green and damp concrete applications.
Sikaflex-11 FC Grey or White Polyurethane is a one-component, gun-grade, adhesive and sealing compound of permanent elasticity with excellent adhesion on all cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, glass, metals, wood, epoxy, polyester and acrylic resin.
Sikaflex-15 LM Grey or White Polyurethane sealant/adhesive
Sikalastic 710 NP is an elastomeric polyurethane coating intended for use as the waterproofing base coat under polyurethane or epoxy wearing surfaces for pedestrian and vehicular applications such as concrete, and tile in a setting bed.
Sikalastic 735 AL is an elastomeric polyurethane top coat for pedestrian and vehicular traffic bearing applications.
Sika AnchorFix-1 Fast curing anchor system for threaded and reinforcing bars in uncracked concrete.
Sika AnchorFix-3001 Fast curing anchor system for cracked and uncracked concrete.
Sika recently bought Greenstreak; manufacturers of state-of-the-art hydrophilic waterstop materials with unmatched durability and water selaing capactiy. These have been assimilated into the SIKA product suite:
- Hydrotite is a state-of-the-art hydrophilic waterstop with unmatched durability and watersealing capacity. Comprised of NON-BENTONITE, modified chloroprene rubber. It expands up to eight times its original volume when exposed to water.
- SwellStop is a multiple use waterstop, which is formulated to encapsulate hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture-activated sealant. SwellStop Primer Adhesive is also required for proper installation.
- X-Plug is the highest performing most versatile taper tie void plug on the market today. This system takes the guesswork out of the equation to get a true watertight product. There is no longer a need to have multiple plugs sizes for taper tie voids. With the X-Plug you only need ONE plug size specifically designed for your taper tie.
Other Sealants & Caulks
Dry Treat offer sealers that provide impregnating, invisible and breathable barriers protecting coral render, porous tile, natural stone, brick, terracotta, paving and grout from damage caused by oils, water and salts.
- Dry Treat Stain Proof is good for general stone surfaces, especially where staining may be an issue, such as garage floors and heavy pedestrian walkways.
- Dry Treat 40SK is especially formulated for softer, more porous materials like Coral Render and Limestone.
Founded in 1974, GEOCEL has built a reputation as a manufacturer of quality sealants, caulks, and adhesives specifically designed for tough construction and repair applications.
- 2310 Brushable Tripolymer Coating is an elastic product with rubber like flexibility that adheres to damp, oily or dirty surfaces. It cures tack free and is paintable. It’s mildew resistant formula seals joints, stops leaks, prevents rust, and is easy to apply at any temperature.
- 2300 Construction Tripolymer Sealant is a single component, high performance elastomeric sealant for use in a wide variety of roofing, trim, architectural metal, manufacturing, underdeck system, solar roof system, and general construction applications.
- 2315LRF Leak Repair-Fibered Brushable Coating is a single component, brushable elastic repair coating with rubber like flexibility ideal for roof leaks, even in wet conditions. This is sold in a Kit.
Underwater Magic

Cortec VpCI and MCI Technology
Vapour phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI) for metal and Migration Corrosion Inhibitors (MCI) for concrete are a critical component in the protection of structures, especially in the Caribbean.
CorrVerter A water based primer recommended for application to rusty or poorly prepared steel surfaces where further corrosion protection is required and good surface preparation is difficult to achieve. VpCI CorrVerter is formulated to penetrate rust, eliminate rust, penetrate to the bare metal and stop further rusting.
MCI-2005NS A new Admixture Technology to Extend Durability of Concrete!
MCI-2006 Mini Grenades MCI Mini Grenades consist of Cortec’s proven MCI 2006 NS pre-measured and packaged in water-soluble Poly Vinyl Alcohol (PVA) bags. Doses allow for protection of concrete volumes from 0.015m³ to 1m³ for repair and migrate into areas surrounding patch or repair and can be incorporated into new work for the protection of embedded metals.
MCI-2020M SC A super concentrated surface applied corrosion inhibitor designed to migrate through concrete structures and seek out steel reinforcing bars embedded in concrete. This product protects carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel and aluminium.
Cleaners & Degreasers
MCI-2060 Is a cleaner degreaser that contains Migratory Corrosion Inhibitors. It effectively cleans caked on grease, dirt, oil, mud on concrete driveways, garage floors, walkways and curbs, making them look like new. Provides protection to rebars and all metals in contact with concrete.
MCI-2061 A powerful cleaner that safely and effectively cleans oil stains on concrete. This hard surface cleaner is unique because it combines powerful cleaning chemistry with micro-organisms capable of biodegrading hydrocarbons, such as those found in oil, diesel and other materials that stain concrete.
Aquaphalt Asphalt Repair
